God (when i say God, i could very well be refering to Allah/Buddha/Beelzebub or whatever deity you feel free to worship) knows what the hell i'm likely to write in my blog...i've never had a blog before, never really felt the need to have a blog - come to think of it, it's only from shear boredom i'm even creating this monster!

It's been a busy few weeks, or months, whatever the case may be....
WTF are the old team thinking?
I'm currently re-tendering for our project and this involves having meetings to discuss how we are going to create the "new look" team; it involves having meetings with the"old look" team; it involves having meetings with the "new look" team to undo all of the damage the "old look" team have done....all while trying to keep the mundane day to day activities under control. Will the madness never end? I surely hope not.
The "old look" team are trying to roll-out the "old look" team for another ten years not understanding nor realizing the client has re-written the entire contract to ensure that the "old look" team is dead and buried. The "new look" team are continually being undermined by the "old look" team to both the client, to nil affect, and anyone else willing to listen, again to negligible affect, but still - it only takes one person to listen and the entire wheels fall of the juggernaut that is.
Everyone leaves, eventually - I'm also in the process of losing a friend to an overseas adventure - which has me down a bit; next time i see them i won't know them; and I'm not sure if I'll even care to....or things may be just as they are now; but i sincerely doubt it...
Driving lessons 101 - one of my friends is learning to drive so i said i'd take her out a few times...it has been the most nerve racking experience of my life! I have been constantly phoning my parents telling them how much i appreciate the driving lessons they gave me when i was growing up - even my father, who in all of his terrified glory, sat there...knuckles white; teeth hurting; veins about to burst in his forehead all from clenching...
I started out being, what i thought, was funny and sarcastic:
Me: "key into the ignition; foot on brake; turn the key; put car into gear; take the hand brake off; check the blind spot on your right...."
Her: "You're really good at this! You're great!"
Me: *thinking - should i tell her I'm being sarcastic? or just run with it?* "How much instruction do you need?"
Her: "About the level you're giving..."
Me: *thinking - FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK* "Ok - I'll continue as I am then...check your mirror; check your blind spot; blinker on...change lanes...get ready to stop...put your foot on the break...slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwly....stop"

In other news:
I got boobed by a former "Neighbours" actress; she was hot stuff in real life. Just to make her feel better, and to make sure I was treating her with the respect she is usually accustomed, I beat her up with the palm of my hand and gave her a black left-eye.
I have no idea why domestic violence is so prevalent amongst celebrities. Is it because of their narcissistic tendencies which are bordering on psychopathic? Perhaps? I wonder if anyone has ever studied whether it is the celebrity that creates the psychopath? or the psychopath that creates the celebrity?
