God (when i say God, i could very well be refering to Allah/Buddha/Beelzebub or whatever deity you feel free to worship) knows what the hell i'm likely to write in my blog...i've never had a blog before, never really felt the need to have a blog - come to think of it, it's only from shear boredom i'm even creating this monster!

Lists! Lists! Lists!
I list everything: my work schedule gets listed each morning; my week gets listed each Monday; and my home life gets listed each weekend. I list everything. I am completely lost without a list.
Do these lists actually help me out in achieving my goals? Sometimes. I mean - they help me to feel like I have achieved something, but at the same time they also give me something to avoid doing. For instance, you can't very well avoid doing the washing up if you don't remember you need to do the washing up to begin with because you've not listed it now can you?
What else do these lists help with? Taking up useless time while procrastinating and not actually doing anything. While there listing and re-listing then prioritising and re-prioritising then coming up with deadlines, which may or may not be, entirely arbitrary, I may well run out of time to actually action anything at all!
I had no list this weekend and I cannot for the life of me tell you anything I have actually done. I've wandered aimlessly along: sleeping; calculating bridge load limits; often forgetting to eat and in almost complete hibernation - I need my list.

So the smell of the food rotting on the plates, the flies and the mould doesnt give you a clue that they might need to be done??

I think you're right - I had baby octopus the other day and didn't wash out the plate I used. My whole flat smells like a rotting fish.
