My Manifesto: The Incoherent Ramblings of a Madman

I do not understand why some people find the time to write into newspapers criticising things. A guy today was venting his anger about something and he basically shot himself in the foot from the very beginning:

"I have not read the entire article but from what I have seen it doesn't make any sense"

Exactly - you haven't read the entire article buddy! so basically you're criticising something you have fuck all knowledge about and yet you still feel so enraged about it that you felt the need to write to the damn newspaper and vent your anger!

What the hell kind of drugs are you people on? If you're going to complain about something and criticise others the least you can do is "read" the "entire article".

These people who have nothing better to do than write in each week to the "letters to the editor" section really annoy me. They blame the wrong people for the wrong things. Their opinions, whilst still their opinions, and they are entitled to have them of course, are so half baked and based on wrong doings, mis-read information and articles they choose to only par-read! It's no wonder this world is so screwed up when no one takes the time to even read something before making an opinion on it!

It is like mobile phones. I'm thinking of getting one - am i behind the times? not really. I have no had one for my own reasons, and I feel they are justified (in short - they don't work almost everywhere I have ever lived, my job becomes a 24 hr job as soon as I have one, they are costly to purchase and yet look like cheap nasty crap that has been made for $2 in a korean sweat shop, and they don't last very long because they're made for $2 in a korean sweat shop - and all of you suckers think that it's ok for a phone to cost a few hundred that only lasts 12 months at best - I really am the only person who doesn't get the whole thing but hey I'm entitled to my "opinion" as half baked as it may well be) Everyone has an opinion on mobile phones - and yet no one knows a single thing about them. But they still insist on giving me their 2 cents worth. The best advice I've gotten has been:

"They are all cheap $2 pieces of shit that will only last a year at best..get whatever phone you think looks the best and you like the feel of...because you won't have it for long enough for it to make much difference about any of the gimmicks they come with"

Call me cynical - but I trust this "opinion" over everyone elses.

As hypocritical as the rest - but willing to admit it.
