I can't believe Obama won! Even though all of the opinion polls for months said he was a shoo-in - who'd have thought they would get it right for once? --There has to be a catch somewhere.

Al Gore won the election and he never became president. Bush managed to destroy Iraq because of their WMDs that never existed. The children overboard fiasco never happened. Being caught red handed doesn't mean you actually murdered your wife and so on and so forth.

Could it be that this time all's well that ends well?

I just hope for Obama's sake he can leave a legacy better than one he is picking up.

Mess with the system - vote for Nader! *

*but only if you're American - voting for Nader in an Australian bi-election would be a waste** of time as we probably don't even have a Nader as a candidate. 

**that's not to say that voting for Nader in the American election wouldn't be a waste of time.
