My Manifesto: The Incoherent Ramblings of a Madman

Ok what has been happening over the past few months? Well, where to start...

Work: been promoted; gotten a payrise; handed in a 100 million dollar tender and been on tenterhooks awaiting the announcement since.

Home: I've moved out of my ivory tower overlooking the harbour/city and into a much nicer apartment which, unfortunately, overlooks merely a leafy street BUT on the upside: I've traded in my gay flatmate and stripper/trust fund for a female merchant banker who masquerades as a barmaid come weekends (or a barmaid who masquerades as a merchant banker come weekdays).

Car: I am now the proud owner of a C30 which, not only looks cool (detractors be damned) but can go 0-100 in 7 seconds and I have no chance of ever dying because it's the safest car in the world! Except it has a habit of attracting shopping trolleys and/or grey Mercedes from neutral bay.

Internet: I'm now officially never using Telstra again. Firstly they tried to tell me my street didn't exist, then they tried to tell me it would cost $100 (or thereabouts) for a reconnection, then they tried to tell me it would cost another $399 for the rest of the reconnection to the actual unit...ALL for a phone line I was planning on disconnecting to turn into a naked line anyway. So I've cut my losses and am now running a one-man crusade to bring them down - by one-man crusade to bring them down I really mean I'm writing this half-cocked poorly punctuated paragraph on a blog that no one cares to even read.

Computer: I have a new black keyboard replacing my other keyboard which, unfortunately, didn't match the colour of everything else in my home/office. It's a sad sad occasion...woe is me! Woe is me! It's been with me for over 10 years (somehow) and yet was still ergonomically better than this "ergonomic" keyboard i now have.

Gym: I've now retired my Power/RR/Shock routine for a new Heavy Upper/Light Lower/Light Upper/Heavy Lower routine.

Other news: I have a stain on my chest to the left which looks like drops of coffee - I wish I'd have noticed it before I went out for breakfast and looked like a homeless person AND officeworks is now my preferred supplier of furniture: $90 for a bookcase that is highly functional and looks cool - it was half the price of all of the furniture stores.
