The wife of missing trans-Tasman kayaker Andrew McAuley is in shock after learning her husband is missing in the Tasman sea.

Documentary maker and spokeswoman for the McAuley family, Jen Peedom, said Vicki McAuley was distraught after learning that her husband's empty kayak had been found adrift 75km west of Milford Sound on New Zealand's South Island.

Blunt Blasts Pantyless Party Girls

Blunt tells American publication Life, "The notion of fame is such a distraction from what I do. And it's unhealthy when we have things like war and global warming going on. We need to adjust the balance. Stop producing magazines that publish pictures of celebrities jumping out of cars with no underwear on."

I just got a Sony-Ericsson W810i. It has some cool features. It looks ok. BUT FUCK ME DEAD there are so many small things that Sony-Ericsson just haven't got right yet:

• The recharger connection is next to useless - it is as if it has built in obsolescence so they can continue to sell you replacement parts.
• The SIM card is next to impossible to remove without breaking it.
• There is no effective option of having more than one recurring alarm for repeated appointments.
  
• Everytime you use the phone to plug into a computer with the USB port it part-recharges making the battery recharge partially everytime so that it lessons the battery life.

They cannot even get the simple things right.

How can they get it so wrong? Is it lack of planning? or clever planning? Either way Sony-Ericsson should stop making phones and get back to what they know how to do well -planning to fail.
